Kathy Sherwood established the Sherwood firm in 1993. Since then, her firm has placed consultants, workshop designers, facilitators and coaches on projects with scores of regional, national and international companies. She has worked with senior human resources people to help them with key components of comprehensive HR strategies targeting performance and change management. Prior to 1993, Kathy Sherwood was vice president of a major retail group for which she was in charge of staffing and human resources at more than 120 sites.
Catherine Majane focuses on interim staffing and related talent sourcing for Sherwood clients. Before affiliating with Sherwood, she worked as a corporate executive coach, OD consultant and interim executive in Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies. She also founded The Staff Alternative, an interim management firm servicing the New York Metropolitan region. She has worked with managers and executives in a wide array of industries including high technology, consumer products, professional and financial services.
Liz Colodny focuses on executive search and talent-related projects for Sherwood. She brings more than 25 years of experience from talent leadership roles in industries including financial, professional and information services, consumer and industrial manufacturing, and non-profits. Her corporate experience has been with premiere companies including PepsiCo, Towers Perrin and Citigroup. Clients have included Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, PepsiCo, American Express, NY University, Phoenix House, Reuters, Dun & Bradstreet, Right Management Consultants and Cushman & Wakefield.
Amy Hearst is a versatile recruiter with 15 years of experience in retained executive search, staffing and recruiting. She has filled more than 150 executive-level searches in areas including sales/marketing, IT, operations, human resources, manufacturing, insurance, higher education and boards of directors. She has experience in industries including consumer projects, logistics, manufacturing, professional services, education, retail, telecommunications, legal and food/restaurants. Previously, she worked for Sprint Nextel, DHR and A.T. Kearney Executive Search, and the Richard Michael Group/Accustaff.
Dawn Mizzone has more than 15 years of experience working with Sherwood and is responsible for sourcing and identifying talent for key assignments. She also works directly with clients to provide research and manage internal logistical support for searches. She has worked on the design of scores of workshops and coordinated logistics for more than 200 Sherwood programs in the U.S. and overseas.
